🚔National Police Week Ceremony
As part of National Police Week, four ceremonies honoring fallen officers will be held today, 5/16, beginning at 7 a.m. at BPD headquarters, followed by events at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., and noon. Road closures start at 5:30 a.m., including Truxtun Avenue between Chester Avenue and H Street, Eye Street near BPD, and the eastbound No. 3 lane of Truxtun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the noon ceremony.

💜Lilac Festival
Pine Mountain Club is hosting their 40th Lilac Festival this Saturday and Sunday. Only an hour drive southwest and you will find the lilacs blooming and lineup of activities for the day. The day will include a parade, food booths, and activities of kids. More information at visitpmc.com/lilacfestival
