🔋Solar Powered Train🚄
The California High-Speed Rail Authority is exploring a solar energy project to power its trains. At an open house in Wasco, officials discussed photovoltaic arrays and battery storage to harness solar power. Two locations near Wasco have been proposed, and community feedback is being sought to identify potential issues. The system would generate electricity, store energy, and connect to the grid. Public comments are open until April 8th to ensure community involvement in the project’s development.
